Unfortunately, one top AEW star has been sidelined for several months with an injury.
Jamie Hayter hasn’t been seen since she put her Women’s Title on the line against Toni Storm at the AEW Double or Nothing event in May 2023 from Las Vegas, Nevada. Heading into the bout, it was known that Hayter was dealing with an injury. Storm walked away with the title and is still in her title reign.
It had been reported in late 2023 that a rough estimate for Hayter’s return was in February 2024. However, that time has obviously passed, leading to fans wondering what her status is.
AEW President Tony Khan told Uproxx this week that the timetable for Hayter’s return is “still pending.”
He noted that he thinks having Hayter back in AEW would be fantastic and would love to have her back in AEW anytime, whenever she’s healthy. Hayter has yet to publicly comment on when she will return.
