Drew McIntyre To CM Punk: There’s A Genuine Chance You’ll Get Jumped If You Get Involved In My WWE Clash At The Castle Match

After being sidelined with torn triceps while competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match that was won by Cody Rhodes, detailing his plans to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL, WWE had to pivot with what to do with CM Punk at the biggest event of the year for the company.

Drew McIntyre won the title from Rollins with Punk on commentary. However, after celebrating with his family at ringside, Punk cost McIntyre the title, leading Damian Priest to cash in Money in the Bank briefcase moments later. The two have taken shots at each other both on social media and on television as they continue their feud ahead of Punk being medically cleared.

Some fans speculate that Punk could cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Title when he meets Priest for it at Clast at the Castle in Scotland later this month, with their match then being booked at SummerSlam in August. McIntyre is well aware of this possibility.

While speaking with Cultaholic, McIntyre warned Punk not to get involved in his upcoming match because Punk may get jumped by the fans.

The full interview drops on Friday.
