CM Punk On Recovery: I Am On Track And Will Be Back Competing Soon

CM Punk made an appearance after Friday’s WWE SmackDown event in Cincinnati, where he offered an injury update.

When Punk returned to WWE last November, many people noticed his changed behavior and positive attitude. He was slated to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL.

However, plans were derailed when he suffered a torn triceps while competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match that was won by Cody Rhodes.

The former WWE Champion did a dark segment for the live crowd where he cut a promo, noting that while he had not recovered 100%, he vowed that he would be back to competition “soon.”

“I want to give a little update. My tricep[s] is not a hundred percent yet. But I am on track and I promise, soon, I will be back and competing with all the tough badasses backstage.”
