Backstage News On Status Of Absent WWE Star

A lot has changed in WWE since Triple H took over main roster creative from Vince McMahon in the summer of 2022. There have been new stars pushed while others have taken a step back from where they had been.

One star who hasn’t appeared at all in 2024 finds herself on the sidelines, and that’s Nikki Cross.

After portraying her crazy character on WWE television, she made a big change to her gimmick in June 2021 when she debuted a new gimmick, Nikki ASH. She even had superhero-like gear. The “ASH” stood for ‘Almost A Superhero.

It was a big change for her as it was more comical than her previous gimmick, and she found a lot of success with the character. This led to her having a big push at the time.

She won the 2021 Money in the Bank match and the Raw Women’s Title. She later went back to her old character, where she continued to be used on Raw. Her last match was on the November 6th episode of Raw for a battle royal. Before then, she was booked on an October 23rd episode of Raw.

Pwinsider reports that despite not being used on television, Nikki Cross has been at WWE TV events on a regular basis.
