Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay took place at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event from the Chaifetz Arena in St Louis, MO.
They started slow and built up from there. The fans were fully invested in this one. Will tossed him on the top rope and kicked him to the floor where he landed an outside dive. Will went for a spring board dive, but Danielson kicked him in the gut. Will hit an outside dive from the top rope to the floor. Bryan with a tiger suplex off the top rope. Will with a drive on the apron then an elbow strike off the apron to the back of Danielson’s neck. Back in the ring, Will with a powerbomb for 2. Bryan reversed a powerbomb with a hurricanrona for 2. They traded various transitions before Bryan caught him with the running knee out of nowhere. Will countered a submission with a styles clash. Will went for a spring board move only for Bryan to catch him with a flying knee strike. They both went for their finishers, but Will caught him first then landed a nasty tiger driver. Will with the running forearm shot for the win.
