WWE NXT Stand & Deliver Results: Oba Femi Survives Triple Threat To Retain North American Title

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi vs. Dijak vs. Josh Briggs was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:

The challengers went right after the champion and double teamed him before tossing him to the floor. Dijak caught Briggs with a superkick before Oba caught him off the apron and hit a press slam. Briggs with an armdrag to Dijak off the middle rope to ringside where Oba was sitting in a chair. Briggs with a powerslam to Oba on the apron. Briggs with a big boot to Dijak, who was coming off the middle rope. Briggs with a clothesline to Dijak off the top rope for 2. Dijak and Briggs beat each other up for a few minutes. Dijak with a canadian destroyer to Briggs. Oba initiated the tower of doom spot. Dijak avoided a moonsault from Briggs then hit a knee strike to the face of Oba for 2 as Briggs pulled out the referee. Dijak with an outside dive to Briggs. Briggs tackled Oba through the barricade. Dijak with a knee strike to Briggs on the floor and then another one in the ring, but Oba broke it up. Oba with a powerbomb to Dijak onto Briggs for the win.

Winner: Oba
