It looks like WWE could be bringing in a notable name from the outside sports world for its biggest event of the year, WrestleMania 40, from the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this weekend.
With Mania being held in Philly, many fans thought it would be a big get for the company to get retired Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce, someone The Miz has stated that he thinks could be great in WWE, and having the Kelce brothers at WrestleMania 40 in Philly would be a home run.
Fightful previously reported WWE reached out to Kelce for a possible appearance.
Pwinsider reports that Kelce has been seen in the Philly area over the last several days as he lives in the area. When asking around WWE about whether he could be a part of Mania, a source stated, “I can’t tell you that, but if he was, you’d think we’d book him to do something physical in the stadium he called home, right?”
It’s unclear exactly what the company has in mind for him.
