Former AEW Star Headed To TNA Wrestling

TNA Wrestling is bringing in a new star as a welcomed addition to their roster after one star found a lot of success in AEW.

TNA is experiencing a lot of change lately, whether that be the rebrand, the departure of Scott D’Amore as TNA President, Anthony Cicione replacing him, or talent being upset with management. There is also talent leaving, such as The Motor City Machine Guns.

Now, Mike Santana is on his way in to join the promotion. Santana made his big AEW return last year during Dynamite after he had been sidelined with a knee injury in June 2022, stemming from the Blood & Guts match.

He returned to reunite with his tag team partner Ortiz and aligned with the Blackpool Combat Club against Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo, Orange Cassidy & Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) in the Stadium Stampede match at All In before splitting off as a singles star and departing earlier this month.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that TNA Wrestling is planning on bringing in Santana.

As of this writing, it’s unclear when he will make his promotional debut and the details of the agreement for him to start working for TNA.
