The build-up to TNA Wrestling’s next pay-per-view event, Rebellion, on April 20th is on, as several of the top matches have been revealed.
The show
TNA World Champion Moose vs. Nic Nemeth will headline the show. Other matches on tap include TNA World Tag Team Champion The System vs. Speedball Mountain, TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali vs. Jake Something, and Eric Young vs. Frankie Kazarian in a Full Metal Mayhem Match.
At Friday’s TNA Impact TV tapings, a new match featuring the return of a former talent in the way of Steph De Lander was lined up. She previously worked for WWE NXT from 2021-2022 as she had been going by the ring name “Persia Pirotta.”
Run
She had a feud with Toxic Attraction, which resulted in a Women’s Tag Team Match after being paired with Indie Hartwell. After being released, she went to TNA, where she was a heel and feuded with Jordynne Grace before departing. She did work a match for AEW on an episode of Dark, putting over Marina Shafir.
She beat Dani Luna, Rosemary, Xia Brookside, Havok, Masha Slamovich, Jody Threat & Alisha Edwards at the tapings to become the #1 contender for the Knockouts Title. She will challenge Grace for the title at Rebellion.
