AEW will kick off what they’re hyping as the new season on tonight’s episode of Dynamite with a new logo and the expected return of the tunnel set, similar to what they had when they launched the weekly show in 2019.
The promotion will also host the fallout from last Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view event on this show and start the quick turnaround build for next month’s Dynasty show. Coming out of Revolution, Will Ospreay’s status for Dynamite was in question.
Ospreay worked his first AEW match as a contracted talent at the show when he scored a win over Konosuke Takeshita before having a staredown with Kyle Fletcher. At the post-event presser, AEW President Tony Khan said Ospreay’s status for the Dynamite was questionable.
However, the AEW boss confirmed via Twitter that Ospreay is slated to work the episode tonight. You can check out his tweet below:
Also on tap for the event is Kris Statlander vs. Riho. More matches will be announced this afternoon.
