Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins were on the Grayson Waller Effect at the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event from Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia.
The belief was WWE may confirm Rhodes and Rollins taking on The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a tag team match at WrestleMania 40. That didn’t happen.
Instead, Rhodes issued a challenge to The Rock for a singles match anytime, anywhere. Rollins said that he would have his back when that day comes.

The tag team match is still expected for Mania. Rollins will still defend the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40 against the winner of the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match while Rhodes has the chance to finish his story by challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
Rollins also noted that he is days away from being medically cleared to make an in-ring return.
