IYO SKY continues to progress her career and reign as the WWE Women’s Champion once her career took off over the last year, thanks to her return that saw her be part of a faction with Bayley and Dakota Kai at SummerSlam 2022.

SKY had a successful run in NXT before being called up to the main roster, where she held Tag Team gold with the faction. At last year’s SummerSlam, SKY cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair after a triple threat match featuring Asuka and Charlotte Flair to win her first WWE Women’s Championship.
SKY has continued to be pushed as a prominent star on television with the group, where she has retained her title over several top stars, including Belair. SKY’s last defense on television was on the January 5th SmackDown when she beat Michin. Her latest PLE title defense was over Belair in November at Crown Jewel.

SKY is just a few weeks away from defending her title against Bayley at WrestleMania 40 in April after the faction turned on its former leader.
