Fans have been speculating for a week about what could be AEW President Tony Khan’s big announcement on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
The speculation has been that it could be the signing of Mercedes Mone or NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada – as both stars have interest from All Elite Wrestling.
Another rumor that’s been speculated is that it could also be the signing or the announcement of Dynamite being held in Boston, MA, the hometown of Mone, where she could then make her debut.
As previously reported, some talent in AEW and those close to Mone believe the working plan is for her to appear for AEW in March, likely after Revolution on March 6th. It’s unclear when she could make an in-ring wrestling debut for the company.
WrestleVotes pointed out that Khan’s big announcement may have been spoiled since the TD Garden in Boston announced on Facebook that they had added a Dynamite event on March 13. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
