Ronda Rousey is not looking to make a WWE return anytime soon following a recent tweet regarding Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard.
Rousey gave her thoughts on McMahon’s resignation from TKO following the bombshell lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against WWE, John Laurnatis, and McMahon.
Build-up
The lawsuit alleged that he was involved in a sex trafficking and abuse scandal from a former WWE employee.
After August’s SummerSlam event, Rousey had wrapped up with WWE, where Shayna Baszler went over the former WWE Women’s Champion in an MMA rules match before she worked two independent dates. Rousey later worked a tag team match for ROH in November.
The tweet
Rousey took to Twitter and got people talking by noting that despite McMahon being removed from his roles in the company, she thinks he will still have a say in the business through longtime WWE exec Bruce Prichard, who has been a strong supporter of McMahon over the years.
McMahon still owns the majority of TKO stock but only has 12% voting power. She wrote:
“Bruce Prichard is basically Vince’s avatar, if he’s still around Vince still has a hand in the business. Vince was still running things through Bruce when he was “gone” before.”
