WWE is days away from presenting the Royal Rumble PLE, and fans are speculating who may make a surprise appearance at the event from Tampa, FL, that kickstarts the road to WrestleMania 40 this April in Philadelphia.
The show
Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, Kofi Kingston, GUNTHER, and Drew McIntyre have declared for the men’s bout, while the women confirmed thus far include Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair.
The card only has four matches confirmed thus far. The other bouts are Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton and WWE United States Champion Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens.
Surprise
Pwinsider reports Sonya Deville and Jade Cargill are expected to be at the show. The former AEW star is still training at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Deville is an interesting one, as she has been at the tail end of recovering from her surgery for a torn ACL.
Deville has also been at the Performance Center as of late, and with her being so close to being able to return to the ring and being at the show, it’s highly likely she could make a surprise return.
Regarding Alis Bliss, they’ve heard no rumblings about her being at the show or appearing, although she does live in Florida, so it’s possible they sneak her in at the last minute. She’s been away since last year’s Royal Rumble, where she gave birth to her first child.
