The Rock Says There’s a Chance He Wrestles Roman Reigns, Thinks It Would Be the Biggest WrestleMania Ever

The Rock added fuel to the fire on the speculation that he could wrestle Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 40 in April.

Talk of this potential match started again earlier this month when The Rock made a surprise Raw appearance to do a segment with Jinder Mahal. After laying him out, Rock ended the segment by asking the fans in attendance whether he should sit at the bar, at a booth, or at the head of the table when going to dinner that night, a reference to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

It has been reportedly ruled out that the match won’t be happening at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE from Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Before the tease, it was expected Cody Rhodes would run back a WrestleMania 39 rematch with Reigns this year.

While making an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, The Rock was asked about the match.

“If myself and Roman Reigns were to main event WrestleMania, and I mean this very respectfully of all the WrestleMania’s prior, because I grew up in this business and I love it, we could possibly put on, with us as the main event and this incredible group of men and women who are these incredible performers, we could possibly put on the greatest and the biggest WrestleMania of all time. There’s a chance… I love this business, I love pro wrestling, I love WWE. I also have a deep passion to grow it and to build it. And if we’re going to do something like this, I want the world to watch.”
