Charlotte Flair believed to have signed a historic new WWE contract

Charlotte Flair is not going anywhere as she is the latest star to lock down a new contract with WWE following Rey & Dominik Mysterio.

Flair is out of action after tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus two weeks ago on SmackDown in a match with Asuka when Flair did a spot in the corner, seemingly twisted when falling, and immediately grabbed her knee.

Although she managed to continue through the match, clearly injured, she needed assistance to get to the back during the commercial break.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Flair agreed to a contract extension with WWE recently that will keep her with WWE for several more years, something WWE Hall of Famer Madusa had said on her podcast recently.

The report noted the news took quite a while for people within the company to hear the same. This is the first extension since WWE merged with the UFC to form TKO, as it was done before the Mysterios deals were done.

They heard, “It is a huge money increase over her last contract and one of the highest-paid deals to a woman in WWE history.” A travel bus was included in the deal, something becoming more common.

This is just a snippet of the story. For complete details, please visit Fightful Select at Patreon.com/Fightful.
