Fans hoping to see LA Knight back on television will need to tune into tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
As previously reported, LA Knight was set to be involved in the main event contract signing on last Friday’s SmackDown with John Cena, Solo SIkoa, and Jimmy Uso before competing in a dark match after the show. However, he was told to leave the arena after testing positive for COVID-19.
Pwinsider reports LA Knight is expected to return at tonight’s SmackDown.
The segment last week was supposed to see him make the save for Cena, leading to him teaming with Cena against Solo and Jimmy at Fastlane next Saturday. That bout will likely be announced on tonight’s show.
Things confirmed for SmackDown include WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Santos Escobar, Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley, and Grayson Waller Effect featuring Bobby Lashley.
