On the latest “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash commented on The Rock appearing on SmackDown:
“He looked great. He looked like he put on like 15 pounds from the fu**ing Colorado game. I really thought he (Austin Theory) held his own.”
Kevin Nash on why The Rock would want to get in the ring to wrestle:
“To keep his brand strong. Who knows how long this SAG strike lasts. Dwayne is double pinched in this. Dwayne is double pinched in this because not only is Dwayne a member of the Screen Actors Guild as an actor, but he’s also a producer, so it’s his pension and health plan. I don’t think he’s doing it for the payday, but he’s definitely doing it from a PR standpoint. I don’t think it’s ever a bad thing to come back to where you started and show the world that you’re still the biggest star.”
Kevin Nash said he will not be making an appearance at the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble:
“One of the things that came out is, ‘Oh, Nash is gonna go in the Rumble and you know, because I hold people back, I’m gonna go in the Rumble and eliminate LA Knight, like I’m working my way back in to screw this guy at 60-fu**ing-4 years old. When Hunter came back and what, 45 years old and tore his pec off the bone? I just did 275 for eight reps on an incline the other day, machine, not fu**ing free weights. No grind. No pain. Woke up the next day, soreness, you know. I’m putting some size back on. I promise you man, all I want to do is go to the gym and I’m not looking to get in the ring.”
