Big Heel Turn Expected on WWE SmackDown

The tag team division is heating up and a big heel turn is expected very soon.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been seeing The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley working together. The Street Profits still come out to their usual theme music and they are clear babyfaces but their role is expected to change very soon.

Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins are in the ‘faux babyface’ role that WWE loves to do before a big turn. Basically, they are setting up a big turn, and based on an interaction we saw last Friday, it looks like they will be feuding with former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

After Lashley and The Profits left the ring, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn went out to the ring for their match and there was a brief interaction. See below to see what happened during SmackDown. There have been rumors for months about a heel turn for The Street Profits. Montez Ford was rumored for a heel turn a couple of years back when Vince McMahon was still running creative.

The heel turn for The Street Profits would likely mean a character change for them as well, as they would be ditching their happy personality and current theme music. WrestleVotes’ insider account posted on X/Twitter that Lashley and The Street Profits are listed internally as heels.
