The Grayson Waller Effect with guest Cody Rhodes happened at the WWE Payback 2023 premium live event from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. PA.
Rhodes was there to make a big announcement. Waller pointed out his highs and lows of 2023. Rhodes said he wanted to give Waller the scoop, but only if he knew Waller watches all of WWE programming. Rhodes said he saw a mistake he felt he needed to make right and he hopes his decision to pull some strings wasn’t a mistake. He announced Jey Uso is the newest member of the Raw roster. Jey walked out to the crowd.
Jey had quit SmackDown and WWE a few weeks ago in storyline after laying out Jimmy Uso and the rest of The Bloodline. Waller said Jey needed a desperate rub from him, leading to Jey laying out Waller with a super kick.
