The issues between Jack Perry and CM Punk apparently remain unresolved.
As seen tonight at the AEW ALL IN: Zero Hour pre-show, During the FTW Title match with HOOK, Jack Perry did a spot on a car by the stage and was cut up. You could see the cuts during the match.
Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that there was a physical altercation backstage between Perry and Punk just before Punk went out to the ring for his match with Samoa Joe. After the glass spot on the PPV, Perry said to the camera, “It’s real glass, cry me a river” which was a clear message to Punk.
That is a reference to Punk and Perry’s issue from weeks ago when Punk told Perry that he should not use real glass in a backstage segment.
