It was announced tonight on WWE Friday Night SmackDown that one of the top stars of the brand will be off TV for a while.
Michael Cole announced that Jimmy Uso suffered “ruptured rib cartilage” last week when he was attacked by Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Cole also said that Jimmy would be out for the “foreseeable future.”
So basically, he has been written off TV for a while as WWE builds toward Jey Uso challenging for Roman Reigns Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
Last week, Roman Reigns teased being done with all of the Bloodline drama and crowning Jey Uso as the new Tribal Chief but it was a swerve on Jey and Jimmy. During the segment, which ran about 40 minutes, they also teased that Solo Sikoa is conflicted about the attacks on his brothers. Click here for complete WWE Friday Night SmackDown results.
