WWE is looking to sign new talent as the company gets closer to closing the acquisition from The Endeavor Group and merging into a new company with the UFC.
The company is also just a few weeks from its next premium live event, SummerSlam, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
No matches for the show have yet to be revealed, but you can check out the internal matches planned for it here.
Pwinsider reports WWE is planning to host talent tryouts on SummerSlam week in Detroit, where Performance Center coach Matt Bloom will be in attendance to oversee the tryout camp.
The company will also bring in additional WWE NXT Coaches and staff. At previous tryouts, Big E has helped out.
As of this writing, it’s unclear whether WWE will invite independent wrestlers or if the tryouts will be exclusive to athletes, something the company has done in the past.
