It looks like WWE will be one of their veterans back in the near future after being on the sidelines for several months.
R-Truth was being used on the WWE NXT brand before he went down with a torn quad during a singles match with Grayson Waller in November when he flipped over the top rope. It was confirmed days after the bout that he had undergone surgery.
In January, while doing a live stream, R-Truth noted that although a second surgery he needed due to an infection set his recovery process back, he’s probably coming back sooner than people think.
This past April, R-Truth teased on Twitter that he would be returning to television “soon.”

Pwinsider.com reports R-Truth was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama, earlier this week. He was most likely there to get checked out as part of the process for a potential return to the ring.
