WWE has started the build for this year’s SummerSlam PLE coming out of last Saturday’s Money in the Bank show.
The top 6 matches previously confirmed for the show will involve names such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Logan Paul, and Cody Rhodes.
The show is expected to be headlined by Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Jey Uso. Here are the other matches that were previously confirmed:
– Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
– Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch
– Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship
– GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship
– Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported two more matches slated for SummerSlam.
Logan Paul vs. Ricochet is one of them, which was revealed after a report came out regarding the original plans for the build to it being changed.
The latest match to be revealed is Rhea Ripley defending the World Women’s Title Raquel Gonzalez.
