This past week’s episode of WWE Raw featured the fallout from Money in the Bank PLE over the weekend from London which had a lot of buzz coming out of it.
WWE also started the build to the August 5th SummerSlam PLE from Detroit, MI, on Monday’s Raw.
However, there was one notable name not backstage at Monday Night Raw and that was Triple H. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported the news. The report noted several people at the show stated they hadn’t expected Triple H’s absence, although he was said to be in a good mood while backstage on Saturday for WWE Money in the Bank and excited for the success of the show.
Those in the company claimed there was nothing to Triple H missing Raw and a planned night away with the expectation that he will be at Friday’s SmackDown.
It’s unclear exactly why he missed the show, but Bruce Prichard ran the show in Triple H’s place. Vince McMahon did not make the trip over to London for MITB nor backstage at Raw.
