Kazuchika Okada vs. Bryan Danielson took place at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view event from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Danielson had the Final Countdown song for his entrance. Danielson caught him with a flying knee strike off the apron to the floor. Danielson worked over the right arm of Okada. Okada drop kicked him off the top rope, sending him to the floor. Moments later, Okada caught him with a drop kick that got a pop and went for an elbow drop, but Danielson caught him with an armbar. Danielson with kicks to the chest on the floor until Okada hit the tombstone on the ramp. Danielson faked like he was convulsing to bait him in for an attack. Danielson with a running knee then kicked his head. Okada hit rainmaker for a near fall. Danielson tapped him out with the lebell lock.
