WWE Hall of Famer/AEW broadcaster Jim Ross indicated on Twitter that he will not be in Toronto this weekend, the site of Collision on TNT and AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He included a photo of himself with Kazuchika Okada that appears to have been the last time he saw him, not tonight.
Ross tweeted:
Looks like I’m likely to miss seeing my amazing friend @rainmakerXokada this run. Okada vs @bryandanielson will raise the bar significantly! Guaranteed classic! “
Ross suffered a bad fall at home prior to flying out to Chicago for the first AEW Collision show. Ross provided analysis for the main event and then later apologized on social media for the way he sounded. Ross also stated that he would be stepping away to heal. Best wishes to JR and hoping for a speedy recovery.
