Fans can expect to see more of Roman Reigns this summer, both on WWE television and at events.
Last year when Reigns signed a new WWE deal, he got a pay increase and had his WWE schedule reduced, where he mostly works TV and PLE events.
In his last match at Night of Champions, Reigns and Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles. The defeat happened when Jimmy Uso turned on “The Tribal Chief” by hitting two superkicks to leave him laid out. Zayn and Owens hit their finishers to Solo for the win and to retain their titles.
Reigns is slated to work a house show on June 17 from Cincinnati, Ohio, at the Heritage Bank Center. The arena is advertising him defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Rey Mysterio.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakamura, Matt Riddle Owens, Zayn, and more are advertised for the show.
On June 5, WrestleTix, which does a great job with tracking ticket sales, noted the show has sold 3,781 tickets, with 2,165 being sold. When Reigns was added to a lineup, he sold additional tickets, although a number wasn’t given at the time.
