Vince McMahon Changed a Significant Part of Monday’s WWE Raw

Vince McMahon showed up to Monday’s episode of WWE Raw in Hartford, CT, a short trip from WWE’s headquarters in Stamford.

He was visiting at the show, his first appearance backstage at a WWE show since the post-WrestleMania 39 episode of Raw. As previously reported, McMahon has been making changes to creative when he sees fit and working remotely.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that rumblings started among talent in the afternoon that McMahon would be showing up. A room was prepared for someone to work out of as the show got closer, which was for McMahon.

Pwinsider first reported that McMahon was at Raw shortly after 6:30 ET. Fightful noted that most of the talent and staff weren’t surprised by McMahon being there due to it being a short trip from Stamford.

Most people don’t expect McMahon to be at WWE shows regularly, as he has been fine with making changes remotely. McMahon was in Gorilla on Monday night.

McMahon has been making changes to the show, sometimes very close to air time, leading to late rundowns being passed around and segments and matches being changed.

The report added, “Vince changed a significant part of the show just a couple of hours before the show.” The event was said to be very positively received.
