Former WWE Star Ryback Teases Signing With AEW

Teases from pro wrestlers on social media oftentimes lead to something and in many instances, they are done to hopefully drum up interest from wrestling companies.

In a clip posted on his YouTube shorts channel (Ryback TV), former WWE star Ryback seemingly hinted that he’s interested in wrestling for All Elite Wrestling or that he’s headed there soon. We don’t know that a deal has been signed or if he’s even had talks with Tony Khan.

Ryback has expressed interest in AEW in the past and in 2020 he said the following on who he would love to wrestle: “Kenny Omega and me, I think, would have great chemistry together. Cody is on top of his game right now. I think there’s big money in that being visited down the line. Obviously Jericho. He’s my favorite top guy I worked with…”

In 2019, Ryback said that he was working on getting healthy with plans to eventually return to the ring. Ryback last wrestled on national television for WWE in 2016. He has wrestled some independent dates but there’s nothing listed for him since 2018.

Again, we have heard nothing from AEW about interest in Ryback so we’ll see what happens. Last night during the AEW media scrum, Tony Khan said that he has talked with Goldberg and that they have a good relationship. See below for the video of Khan talking about Goldberg and check out Ryback’s tease below as well.
