AEW Trios Champions House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. TBA took place at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Max Caster mentioned WWE’s Dominik Mysterio in his promo to the ring by saying Buddy Matthews was getting cucked by a kid named Dominik. Matthews dates Rhea Ripley in real life while Ripley portrays a relationship with Mysterio on WWE television. The challengers got the early advantage on the champions. Black took out the left knee of Bowens before hitting a knee strike to the head. King with a cannonball splash in the corner to Bowens. Bowens got the hot tag to Gunn a few moments later. Gunn with the fameasser to King then Mathews only for Black to hit his finisher to Gunn for the win.
