Ryback is known to speak his mind on social media and is now taking a stand after alleging that he has lost a notable amount of followers on these platforms due to them shadow-banning his accounts.
When he left WWE, he legally changed his name from Ryan Reeves to Ryback Reeves as a way to continue to use the name, leading to a legal battle over the trademark rights to the Ryback name.
Since his departure, Ryback has been very vocal about WWE and, among other things, alleging that WWE has had a hand in restricting his Twitter account reach.
In a post on Twitter, Ryback noted that he had sent legal letters to several social media companies about restricting his accounts. He listed the companies, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Snapchat, and TikTok. The former WWE star claims that he has lost over 300,000 followers. He wrote the following:
“Legal letters going out to all the social media companies today. We have given you every opportunity to do the right thing and this is going to be pursued if not made right. This isn’t a game and is bigger than just me. Shadow ban technology has NO PLACE being used to begin with and is rooted in evil and corruption. @elonmusk you have failed to deliver on what you said you would do and I hope you take this very seriously. @twitter @instagram @meta @youtube @tiktok_us @snapchat @wwe @Endeavor good luck.”
