Although WWE is known to book a lot of rematches on television, there are instances of the rare first-time-ever match on the main roster being booked.
This happened just weeks after the Draft changed the rosters for Raw, NXT, and SmackDown as talent switched brands while NXT stars were called up to the main roster.
A week after Nikki Cross wrestled Tegan Nox for the first time in ten years and the first time in WWE, she got to work with a star for the first time, and that was Emma.
Emma was previously in WWE from 2011 to 2017. She was part of NXT when the brand first started on the WWE Network and competed in the first-ever NXT Women’s Title bout against Saraya (Paige).
Emma returned to WWE in October 2022 and put on SmackDown before being paired with her real-life boyfriend, Madcap Moss. They were moved to Raw during the Draft.
They worked a match on Main Event this week that was taped on Monday before Raw and aired on today’s episode on Hulu.
