Hulk Hogan Says He Never Had a Retirement Match, Is Open to Wrestling Stone Cold Steve Austin at WWE WrestleMania 40

Hulk Hogan was interviewed on Ariel Helwani’s “The MMA Hour” to talk about his career and his CBD/THC brand.

Hogan said that he got a call from Shane McMahon “about three months before WrestleMania” about a potential match but he needed time to get his feet underneath him.

Hogan also pointed out that we are coming up on the 40th anniversary of his win over The Iron Sheik and said that he’s open to wrestling one more time. On possibly wrestling at WrestleMania 40, Hogan said that “anything is possible.”

Helwani asked Hogan if he had his way, who would he want to wrestle for his last match. Hogan said, “The reason I went back to wrestle The Rock (in 2002) was to get in the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Because me as a bad guy, I could have tore the place down with him…if I had one guy to get in there it would be him.”

Hogan confirmed that he and Austin have a good relationship, which is known to anyone who listened to Hogan on Austin’s podcast from a few years ago.
