Former WWE Wrestlers to Make AEW Dynamite Debut Next Week

AEW has announced several matches and segments for next week’s Dynamite, including the debut of two former WWE wrestlers.

In recent months, AR Fox, Metalik, and Blake Christian have been teaming together in ROH and AEW, including at ROH Supercard of Honor when they lost to The Embassy with the World Trios Championship on the line.

Christian had worked for WWE NXT for a brief time under the Trey Baxter name before he was released in 2021. He has since worked for Impact Wrestling, GCW, NJPW, and various indie promotions in addition to AEW/ROH.

Metalik, who worked for WWE from 2016-2021, was primarily used in the Cruiserweight division and teamed with Lince Dorado and Kalisto as the Lucha House Party on Raw and SmackDown. After requesting his release, he worked for NJPW, GCW, and Impact. He joined AEW/ROH in September.

House of Black has been doing open challenges for the AEW Trios Titles in recent weeks. The group will defend its titles against Fox, Metalik, and Christian. Although Metalik and Christian have worked on Dark and Dark Elevation, they’ve never competed on Dynamite. Here is the updated card for the show:
