Former WWE Star Sid Is Not on Twitter; Tweets About Sasha Banks, Seth Rollins, and Others Are Fake

The latest “Wrestling Time Machine” podcast with Bill Apter and Teddy Long has been posted online. Teddy and Bill covered a variety of topics. Scroll down to hear the podcast.

Teddy Long putting over the new talent in WWE:

“When I had that chance to visit Raw and SmackDown, I had a chance to look at that young talent there like Bianca Belair and the girl she worked with there. I could see them doing rehearsals and different things that these two girls, not just them, just that whole young entire generation of talent that’s coming up in the WWE now, these kids want it. They’re hungry, they’re willing to do the right thing, and they got great attitudes. That’s what really means a lot is to have a good attitude. When those two girls get their work out there in that ring, you could tell it was strictly business, you know, we’re gonna give these people 100%. This is what they paid to see and we’re gonna make sure they get their money’s worth.”

Bill Apter talked to Sid about allegedly knocking Sasha Banks online. For context, there is a Twitter account that claims to be Sid and has given controversial takes on some of the current wrestlers. Apter debunked that the account is run by Sid because he called him to confirm:

“I called Sid. He’s not nuts about doing any interviews. I said, ‘Well, you know you’re knocking Sasha Banks online.’ He said, ‘Woah. I once said something about Kevin Nash that somebody put online that got me into a lot of (trouble). I don’t do tweets. I don’t do this other stuff. Whoever said anything about me knowing Sasha Banks or whatever, that is not me. That is not my Twitter.’ I said to him, ‘Maybe we can hook up and do an interview.’ He said, ‘Maybe you can give me a call next week. I can’t promise you anything.’ I said, ‘Well what are you doing these days?’ He said, “Bill, I got a family life right now. I’m taking care of my family. I got my grandkids and all this kind of stuff. I just don’t want to do any of this social media stuff. It really bothers me when people come out and say things about me. I don’t need it. I just want to block it out of my mind.’ So it’s not his Twitter.”
