Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite was headlined by the World Title match between MJF and Ricky Starks with the Dynamite Diamond Diamond Ring also on the line.
Late in the match, Starks had a lot of momentum and he was able to hit the spear but Starks could not follow up with a pin attempt right away because his arm was hurt.
Starks finally went for a pin but MJF countered with the Salt of the Earth armbar submission. Starks was able to get to the bottom rope and he got really close to winning the match but MJF hit a low blow and then pinned Starks with a cradle pin.
It looks like Bryan Danielson is next in line for the World Title. After the match, Danielson ran out to ringside but MJF took off through the crowd. Click here for more news from AEW Dynamite.
