Bobby Lashley no longer fired by WWE

Bobby Lashley’s firing from WWE has been rescinded.

For those of you that missed it, Lashley was fired (in storyline) last night on WWE Monday Night Raw by WWE official Adam Pearce. The decision to fire Lashley came after he accidentally struck officials for two consecutive weeks.

Pearce issued a statement this afternoon to announce that Lashley’s firing has been rescinded and that he and Lashley will sit down and talk soon to figure out how to move forward. “Despite what I said last night, Bobby Lashley is not fired,” Pearce said.

Pearce said that Lashley’s behavior is unacceptable and will be addressed with repercussions. Pearce apologized for letting his emotions get the better of him in the heat of the moment.

“I formally rescind Bobby Lashley’s termination and I sincerely apologize for my part in escalating an already volatile situation,” Pearce said at the end of his statement.
