Sasha Banks-WWE talks held up because of a ‘money situation’

Apparently, there were fans who attended WWE Survivor Series last night who were expecting the return of Sasha Banks since the show took place in her hometown in Boston.

During the Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, there were lout “We Want Sasha” chants. The chants quickly died down. Bryan Alvarez noted on Twitter that it sounded like the crowd mics were turned off. That has happened in the past but one source who was at the building told WrestlingNews.co that it was a short chant that was drowned out by other fans.

Fans hoping to see Banks back on WWE TV will have to wait longer because the talks have apparently slowed down and there is no guarantee that she will be back.

Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that “They’re in contract talks. The last I heard it was a money situation and that was a long time ago so I don’t know where it stands right now.”

On November 10, Soulnado Inc (Mercedes Varnado’s company) filed the following trademarks:

-Mercedes Mone’

-Mone’ Talks

-Bank Mone’

-Statement Maker

The trademark filings may be an indication that she’s ready to move on without WWE if a deal is not reached.
