For many years, the idea of Vince McMahon not being part of WWE didn’t seem possible, but it came a reality over the summer when he resigned as the Chairman and CEO.
McMahon resigned from WWE in July after the hush money scandal over alleged sexual misconduct broken by the Wallstreet Journal and WWE’s own investigation into the matter. Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon have been named co-CEOs of WWE, while Triple H is head of creative.
Fightful Select reported today that WWE sources told them that they don’t necessarily hear from McMahon much these days, but he’s been known to be out and about more than he was while still with the company.
McMahon was spotted on a date in New York City last week and was previously seen out in public with several top WWE stars to celebrate his 77th birthday in late August.
Vice TV has been working on a new documentary about the life and career of McMahon that was slated to air last month but was pushed back due to competition from WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite going head-to-head with the documentary on the same night.
