Mick Foley briefly returns to Twitter to share an important message

Mick Foley took a hiatus from Twitter on October 28th because he thought it looked “like hatred and misinformation are the featured entrees on the new Twitter menu.”

However, the WWE Hall Of Famer returned to the social media platform to send a message ahead of the 2022 elections in the United States on Tuesday, November 8th. This is an election year with all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate open to be contested. He wrote the following:

“I’m back on Twitter for one day – so I can PLEAD with all of you NOT to give your vote to election deniers. Inflation rises and falls. Gas prices will go down. But once our democracy is gone, it’s not coming back. DEMOCRACY IS ON THE BALLOT.”

Foley has taken time off from the platform several times in the past for various reasons. He regularly interacts with fans and would comment on current wrestling topics. Foley has voiced his concerns about Elon Musk buying the social media platform.
