Lesnar still favored the knee but was able to turn things around with German suplexes and the F5 but Lashley kicked out of the pin attempt. Lashley slipped out of another F5 attempt and then clotheslined Lesnar out of the ring. Lashley then drove Lesnar into the ring post. Back in the ring, Lashley hit a spinebuster and he followed up with The Hurt Lock. Lesnar was able to leverage himself to the ropes. He pushed off while Lashley had the hold on but Lesnar fell on top and the referee counted and declared Lesnar the winner. Lashley put Lesnar in the Hurt Lock after the match.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Damage CTRL

Before the match, Byron Saxton conducted a backstage interview with Bliss and Asuka. There was a moment during the interview where Bray Wyatt’s logo flashed on the screen and Bliss looked at it for a moment before continuing with her promo.

This was a back and forth match, similar to most WWE matches. Late in the match, they did a tower of doom spot in the corner. Moments later, Bliss hit the Twisted Bliss but Kai got the knees up after a distraction by SKY. SKY missed a moonsault on Asuka at ringside. Bliss hit the twisted DDT on Kai. Bliss went to the top but Nikki Cross ran in and attacked Bliss. That allowed Kai to get the cover to win the belts back.

Prior to the next match, they showed Logan Paul and his brother Jake arriving. Logan said he feels like he’s about to shock the world beause all he needs is one lucky punch.

Cage Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross

Michael Cole told viewers that the match is won via pinfall, submission or escape when a wrestler leaves the cage and both feet hit the floor.

McIntyre had to deal with Scarlett causing a distraction even though she was outside of the cage. The distraction was helpful early in the match as McIntyre was about to hit a Claymore. Kross tried to escape the cage but McIntyre caught up to him and superplexed him back into the ring.

Late in the match, McIntyre had the cage door open but he took mace to the face from Scarlett. Kross went to exit the cage but McIntyre caught up to him and put him in the ankle lock and the Claymore. Scarlett locked the cage, which mean that McIntyre had to climb over the cage. Scarlett opened the door for Karrion but McIntyre landed on the floor first to win the match.

After the match, Michael Cole said that Scarlett may have cost her man the match by locking the cage earlier.

Byron Saxton interviewed Roman Reigns as he and The Bloodline arrived. Reigns refused to talk and seemed to take offense to the “one lucky punch” narrative put out by Logan Paul. Saxton was able to get come comments from Paul Heyman.

The OC vs. The Judgment Day

Late in the match, The OC had the match almost won but Ripley drove Styles into the ring apron. Balor hit the Coup de Grace to pin AJ and win the match for his team.

It looks like this feud will continue into Survivor Series and Styles will bring in someone to handle Ripley.

Braun Strowman vs. Omos

The match started with an old school test of strength. Omos gained the advantage with a knee to the mid section, a whip into the corner and kicks to the body. Strowman tried to fight back but Omos countered with a body slam.

Omos dominated the first few minutes of the match until Strowman fought back with punches and a clothesline over the top rope. Strowman went for the running train outside the ring but Omos blocked him. Back in the ring, Strowman sidestepped a charge in the corner and then he powerslammed Omos to win the match.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Brawling Brutes vs. The Usos

This was a back-and-forth match with a lot of false finishes. Several minutes into the match, Jimmy and Jey almost had the match won after a double splash off the top onto Butch. Moments later, Ridge Holland almost won the match for his team after he hit the White Noise on Jey.

Butch almost pinned Jey after a double team move but Jimmy broke up the pin. Jimmy and Jey hit a 1D off the top rope onto Butch. Jimmy pinned him to retain the belts. On SmackDown this Friday, The New Day will try to stop The Usos from breaking their record title reign.

Bianca Belair vs. Bayley

In the first minute of the match, Bayley brought a kendo stick into the ring. She was also the first to bring a chair into the ring but Belair was able to avoid getting hit.

More weapons were used, including a ladder and steel steps and the match eventually spilled to the stage with Belair using the kendo stick on Bayley. Bayley also used an equipment case and she managed to get Belair trapped inside it but she fought her way out of it.

Bayley locked the crossface on the top of the stage. Bayley drove a gold cart but Belair avoided it. Both women fought on top of the cart. Belair drove the cart to ringside with Bayley on top and she pulled her off. Bayley was supposed to go through a table but it didn’t break and it was a bad landing on the floor.

Belair then powerbombed Bayley through the table. Bayley barely made it up by the count of 9. Belair did a 450 off the top but Bayley moved and Belair crashed onto a bunch of chairs. Bayley hit Belair in the back with chair shots. Belair hit a KOD onto a chair and the landing was bad. Belair sandwiched Bayley under a ladder in the corner. Bayley couldn’t get up and so Belair retained the title.

Bray Wyatt segment

Bray Wyatt walked out to the ring with his full entrance. Bray talked about coming from a prestigious family and wanting to be great wasn’t good enough because he wanted to be greater than all of them.

Bray said he no longer felt pain when he wore the mask and he was no longer afraid and it felt good to feel untouchable but that monster destroyed him and ran off the people that he loved. Bray said he sat alone with no one to live him and nowhere to run. Bray said no one loves him and they love the things that he is capable of. He said, “I don’t even love me.”

Bray said he didn’t want to be remembered for being a monster. He yelled several times that “my name is Bray Wyatt” and he is here to rewrite the ending to his story. WWE Undisputed Universal Championship
Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul

Logan got a massive fireworks display and an elaborate entrance. During Reigns’ entrance, Michael Cold tried his best to get fans to think that Reigns was not being himself this week and that he might actually lose.

Paul surprised Reigns with an amateur wrestling takedown and a fireman’s carry. Reigns took control of the match after he fired off a right hand to the head of Paul. However, Paul came back with a nice leapfrog, a hip toss, and clothesline over the top rope. Paul also hit a cross body off the barricade and a Buckshot Lariat.

Paul tried a springboard move off the ropes but Reigns caught him with a right hand to the face. Reigns dominated the match for the next few minutes until Paul began to start a comeback. Paul was close to winning after hitting the Blockbuster but Reigns was able to kick out.

Paul hit a Superman punch but he was too tired to immediately go for the pin. Paul kipped up and hit a crossbody off the top, followed by a standing moonsault and a pin attempt. Paul went for sweet chin music but Reigns countered into a Uranage slam. Reigns missed the Superman punch, Paul hit his “lucky punch” and a Superman punch. Reigns kicked out of the pin attempt.

Paul hit a splash off the top and through a table. The Uso came out and they beat up people from Paul’s entourage. Jake Paul went out to ringside and he knocked out Jimmy and Jey. Logan hit the frog splash on Reigns but Reigns kicked out. Solo Sikoa went out the ringside area but officials stopped him from fighting with Jake. Logan then did a dive onto The Usos at ringside.
