New champions were crowned tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw.
Asuka and Alexa Bliss defeated Dakota Kai and IYO SKY in the main event to win the Women’s Tag Team Champions. There was interference at ringside but that was taken care of by Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair because she took out Bayley at ringside. Both women ended up being taken out when they went through a table after Bayley hit the Bayley to Belly on Belair.
The show ended with Bliss and Asuka celebrating their win. During the match, Corey Graves noted that Bliss has the mean streak that has been missing for a while. For weeks, Graves had been saying that something was off with her and that sparked rumors that she could be changing her gimmick and aligning herself with Bray Wyatt. It looks like that is not going to happen.
Bayley will challenge Belair for the Raw Women’s Title this Saturday at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
