As seen on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, MJF apparently babyface turn is still playing out.
In the main event of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the World Title. After the match, Moxley was attacked by The Firm, despite what MJF told them earlier about making sure Moxley is not touched before Full Gear.
MJF ran in the ring and fired The Firm for attacking Moxley. That caused The Firm to take out MJF with Ethan Page delivering the Ego’s Edge. The show ended with W. Morrisey chokeslamming MJF through a table.
Unless this ends up being some sort of swerve, MJF will not have help from The Firm at Full Gear when he challenges Moxley for the World Title.
