WWE SmackDown star Sonya Deville appeared on tonight’s episode of NXT. Scroll down to watch the video of her return. Deville popped out from the crowd to attack Alba Fyre. Deville was joined by Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin. Mandy Rose was not there because she was given time off after the passing of her brother.
The attack was done to set up a match for next week between Deville and Fyre. Presumably, there will be a story told when Mandy Rose returns to action. In storyline, Rose and Deville were enemies and they last fought at SummerSlam last year in a No DQ Loser Leaves WWE match.
The current regime is more likely to acknowledge their history so either Rose and Deville patch things up or seeds are planted for tension between Rose and the rest of the group.
It’s unclear if Deville’s return to NXT is a short or long-term move. This move gives her something to sink her teeth into since they haven’t done a lot with her in recent weeks.
