Premiere date revealed for Vince McMahon documentary on Vice TV

Vice TV has been working on a new documentary about the life and career of Vince McMahon. It was reported a week ago the project was in the works.

The documentary will also feature coverage of the hush money scandal over alleged sexual misconduct broken by the Wallstreet Journal that led to McMahon’s resignation from WWE in July.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “the Vince McMahon documentary on VICE, called ‘The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon,’ will be airing on 10/18 from 8-10 p.m.” It will be the lead-in to the “Tales from the Territories” show about the AWA

Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez were both interviewed for the film. When the McMahon scandal broke in July, it was reported that a planned Netflix documentary on McMahon had been canceled. However, it was later reported that the project is still in the works and is produced in collaboration with WWE.

Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon have been named co-CEOs of WWE, while Triple H is head of creative.
