There was some breaking AEW news during San Diego Comic Con.
Bryan Danielson announced that he is cleared to wrestle and he will be wrestling this Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite against Daniel Garcia.
Danielson has been out of action since getting injured during the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double Or Nothing in May. Tony Khan decided to take extra precautions to not rush Danielson back to the ring because of his history of concussions but it looks like he is all clear for in-ring action.
Also during the SDCC panel, Danielson and Chris Jericho were reportedly cutting promos on each other and CM Punk said that there is no timeframe for his return from his foot injury. Punk added that his foot was shattered and it’s healing and he is re-learning to walk.
Danielson vs. Garcia was confirmed for Wednesday during the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
