After WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, they did an angle to set up a match for SummerSlam.
As seen in the clip below, Theory was celebrating his Money In The Bank briefcase win and then Theory ripped on John Cena and said that his time is now. That seemingly confirms that Theory vs. Cena is happening at SummerSlam.
They also had Happy Corbin run out to ringside and attack Pat McAfee. As seen below, Corbin hit the End of Days on the floor and then he celebrated with Theory.
So far, one match has been confirmed for SummerSlam but, based on current storylines, here is what the top of the card looks like right now:
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship – Last Man Standing Match
Roman Reigns (Champion) vs. Brock Lesnar
John Cena vs. Theory
Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin
Logan Paul vs. The Miz
Also, it looks like Ronda Rousey will get a rematch against SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair will likely face Rhea Ripley and they left things open for a Street Profits vs. The Usos rematch.
